How are you lately?

Been busy with matters that don't really matter..

Just realized lately.
When I'm into something, I'm always in for good, but not for long.
I don't know why but I just do.

My hoodie came out from his hiding place to play.

He has been to so many strange places,

He has seen so many unfamiliar faces.

He was in a class which teaches English,

But the lesson was so dumb and childish.

Then he got into a huge library,

Where it’s quiet, peaceful and yet lonely.

"So this is where he came every day,

Just to take a glimpse of that girl," he said.

After a long and tiring day,

He made his way back to where he came.

And so before he got back

into his little secret hiding place,

Hear what my lil white hoodie he has to say,

"Hi and bye to all the strange faces i met today,

也许，不会拒绝、成全别人，一直是他摆脱不了的劣根。

这不是善良，不是无私，更不是响应完美宿命的暗示，而是真的学不会。他不忍心看见别人难过伤心，不忍心两个人的气氛变得比一个人的寂寞更加复杂艰辛，所以他只能一次次地勉强自己，接受放弃。

他很想单纯，极力只为一个人付出。

但是，他那单纯的复杂伤害了很多人，更被很多人复杂却单纯地伤害。当他回过头去，发现自己追求的和追求自己的，都不断择路而逃，而且逃得有些仓促，有些彻底。所以，他有时很害怕，也很无助。

千百年浸泡在水里，坚强，是他永远也习染不得的性格，好在，他的懦弱已经能够若无其事地承受各式各样的告别挥手。完美和理想，不过是别人在他落败之后强加给他的最为俗套最为隔阂的眼光。没有人知道，他在这样并不纯净、极为染尘的浑水里，接受着怎样的悲哀，又还坚持着怎样的微笑和不被溺亡。

在已经被误解的一次次更迭里，他却怀抱着所有的记忆，不知是不肯丢掉，还是丢之不掉，甚至连选择性失忆都做不到。

Another morning feels like yesterday.

Sooner than you could realize it, 2010 had come to an end.

Feels like its just yesterday I wrote the post bout 2009.

So many have happened last year. So many things have changed. There's just too many.

The end of high school.

The beginning of university.

The book of life have just started a whole new chapter.

Twenty ten started rocky and thorny for me.

The first six months was a mess, a haywire, a torture i should say.

Picking up the pieces tossed and left behind by others alone wasn't something easy.

In fact, its hard.

Being dissed and abandoned.

You feel like you're the only one who's ever felt this way.

There's no turning back but to keep on moving to put back all the pieces.

Thats when I discovered what true friends mean.

They aren't the ones who post status or comments on facebook about you.

They aren't the ones who message you and tell you call them if you need any help.

They aren't the ones who go missing when you really need them.

They are the ones who didn't even have time to log onto facebook.

They are the ones who phone you no matter day or night wanting you to give them something to do.

They are the ones who stayed at your house for freaking 8 hours to correct some stupid ads by some retard.

They are the ones who showed up without needing you to tell.

They are the ones who helped me gone through the fucking six months.

As I rushed through the first six months, the month where friends started to departure has arrived again.

May, June and July.

That time was by far the best time of my life.

It was the time where you cherish your friendship most as friends are starting to depart to where their future brings them to.

Gathering, outing, apartment stay, barbecue, playing basketball at school for the last time, even a simple lunch and McDonald's, everything just seems so precious.

The excitement of taking the first step into the next stage of life and yet the grudge of leaving behind friends, family and hometown that we have lived for the past 2 decades.

Just before we could get fully prepared for what's to come, university starts.

Meeting strangers from far away lands, living in an all new environment with unfamiliar faces.

All that you can cling one was few friends that came with you. Even that doesn't hold on for long.

In a whole new environment, unexpected things happen. Even the closest friends may turn to foe.

Nobody knows.

Then things start to change.

New friends, new mates, new faces.

You could find similarities between new and old friends.

The ones with same "patterns", the ones that won't stop chatting once you get the talking started.

Even the ones that you dislike for some certain reasons, they all seemed to come together around you but in a different look and voice.

The way they annoys you may differ but still, the effect is the same.

And then we have the reunions.

Back at hometown, old friends come together after being parted some half a year.

Things change fast.

Yes we do meet, we do chat.

Sometimes I just felt that something went missing.

Its that feeling, that intimacy we had before, the closeness, the implicit recognition.

Its somehow, missing.

最熟悉的陌生人, he said.

This was my new year resolutions for 2009
1. Not to lose anything
2. Gain some weight
3. Stop gaining height
4. Shoot more photos and update more frequently
5. Fill the other half of me

Didn't lose anything important but faith and trust.
Did gained some weight.
Didn't stop growing yet.
Stopped taking photos for some time and have been abandoning my blog for quite some time.
Am still single.

Nothing much seems to be accomplished since 2009.

For 2010
1. Gain back lots of things that were once mine.

2. Active and productive.
3. Get back into photography and blogging in a whole new perspective.
4. Fill the other half of me (still -.-)

Time changes everything.

New year ahead upholds new challenges to face.

Cherish the past, grasp the present, embrace the future.

Another morning feels like yesterday.

Still remember my Lebron I got last year after I lost my UpTempo?

*I still see that brat wearing my UpTempo recently. Damn him!

Well they had served me well and went to heaven after 1 year.

The bottom of the shoes are worn out, the front part of the shoe started to tore apart.

Even the shoelaces turned into cotton-candy-liked and its hard to fix them back once you pull them out.

There is a saying that the new ones wont come if the old ones didn't go.

Say goodbye to Lebron and hello to Kobe!

They are black.

Just last year before Christmas and Graduation Dinner, I had a family trip to Bangkok for 3 days.
When I say 3 days, it felt like 7 for my legs.
The whole trip involves walking, shopping, walking, standing in SkyTrain, walking, walking in the mall, walking and more walking.

When you go to Bangkok, you really have to walk around the city to feel its soul and beauty.

Carefully, you have to strip her out her bikini to get the juice and spice of this mega city.

Unlike Malaysia, you get to see lingerie ads with big boobs models on the side of the highway or even a lingerie shop at the SkyTrain station.

Get it?

Or even a mini store at the roadside selling ladies' underwear. (And the "shopkeeper" is an uncle in his 50's)

It was days before Christmas during out trip.
The city was filled with lights and decorations.
You can feel the season all over the place.

Reindeer pushing Santa helping him to get into the house.

Nice.

Some big ass gorilla welcoming you into his souvenir shop with a Starbucks alike logo. (Go sue him la uncle, or you can take your time suing over thousands of shop selling "StarFuck ForFree" T-shirts.)

You even get to watch Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng fighting each other in Thais.

We even get a free upgrade from Baiyoke Boutique Hotel to Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest tower in Thailand.

Enjoying breakfast and the view of the whole city at 77th floor, you can't ask for a better place for breakfast.

Night view from my room window. Its already 1am in the morning and the streets are still packed with cars.

A shooting range at 17th floor in case you got bored.

Even the local food at the road side are internationally recognized.
Believe me, its darn good!

However, their Starbucks charge for wifi.
Sucks.

Charming Notorious Stalkers

We are not much different from any ordinary 19-year-old going 20.

We only knew each other after SPM even though we were in the same school for 5 years.
We are not equipped with any big ass cameras nor gadgets.

We are, none other than the CNS!

C for the Charming one with a Canon.

Well its not his Canon but his sister's.
Thats why you could find sticker on his camera and a Pooh key chain on camera bag.

With his sister's Canon 450D, his sister's kit lens and his sister's prime lens, he roam the streets and shoot.

N for the Notorious one with a Nikon.

The most quiet one and with the behavior closest to normal humans, Sheng Di shoots with his Nikon D40 in silence.

The stupid and childish acts of C and S can be commonly found in his photos.
Here is a very good example of it.

Last but not least,

S for the Stalker with a Sony.

Among the three, he knows best about cameras and gadgets.
He is the dictionary of all those codes and numbers you find in the world of cameras and lenses.

And he is the only one with a "kinda" complete set of gadgets.
Prime lens, zoom lens, 2 kit lenses, 2 flashes.
Then he sold them for a Carl Zeis DT 16-80mm F3.5-4.5 (phew, it took me quite some time to type the codes)

We got together after we went for a street shooting event called "Photowalk".
Thats the C meets N for the first time.
Then random outings brought them closer together.
And when i say random, it really does mean RANDOM.

From Guan Yim Deng where they parked their cars, they roam the streets and ended up taking ferry to Butterworth.

When they get together, they tend to act stupid whenever they have the chance to. (they mostly refer to C and S with N observe quietly)

With their cameras, they will try whatever they could.

Such as aiming the poor flies they met at a mamak stall.

Or taking silly photos of each others.

Prison break maybe?

Linked by cameras and same interest - photography, they went for kick ass outings, took random pictures, had random foods, wasted petrol for random spots (from Jelutong high way to Pulau Betong, Balik Pulau), getting lost in Balik Pulau, went Pantai Aceh to shoot beach but ended up facing a mountain, agreed to meet at 7.30 am but reached at 8.30am, and a hell lot of stupid yet meaningful stuff they did.

8th of January 2010.
It might be the first outing for 2010 and the last for CNS.

Who cares.
As long as we knew we rocked hard throughout the years!

As exam draws near, nothing seems to be interesting enough for you to do except those sexy seducing Chemistry notes or the round and curvy graphs of Maths.

I promised lots and lots of updates in my previous post.
Sadly, that was the only post I had posted for so long.

Holiday was good. Finished in a flush down the toilet.
Its like your stomach starts to ache, ran to the toilet, #$%^&*, flush, come out, holiday ended.

Classrooms are getting emptier and emptier day by day.
Those hard working students kononnya started to skip school since last week as the prefer to stay at home to study rather than wasting their precious time at school kapsiao-ing.

As for me, Im still buzzing around with lots of unfinished business before I can too join the batch of hard working students to not to attend school.

11th August 2009.

I'd promised Eu Han and Kit for a photo shoot since ... well I cant even remember when.
And I asked Pat too, but since he had his own personal photographer (Ping, keat one), he does not wish to use my service anymore.

Sad.

So finally everyone was free that Sunday.
The day before Kit and I went Komtar for some films.
I bought 3 2004 expired films for RM10, trying to be adventurous shooting with expired films.

Sunday afternoon after my tuition.
I took my dad's Rebel 300, Han with his dad's Rebel 500, Kit with his guitar?
Sort of.

We started off and roamed around the streets.
Shot whatever we see.
Went wherever we wish to go.

Eat whatever we want to.

星期一八时二十五分

我与我的灵麓正在马路上奔驰着。

星期一的夜晚显得特别宁静。
到了交通圈的红绿灯，我把车子停下。

我车后的一辆英雄，坐着一位父亲和他的女儿。
父亲应该都快五张了，女儿才小学五年级似的。

父亲把手刹车拉上，靠了过去，对着女儿比手画脚的，表情丰富得很。

红绿灯倒计时表显示着红红的59秒。

从他的脸上，他的表情，看得出他对她的疼爱、关怀、努力。
而她则一脸不耐烦似的望着它方，毫不理睬，摆着 "别靠过来，你好烦哦"的脸蛋。
他讲了将近十句，她终于应了他一句。
他笑了，微笑得很灿烂。

我透过往后镜注意到了他们。十句一句，再十句才一句。

她四处凝视，无耐、烦躁。
他马不停蹄的说着，努力。

绿灯亮起。
也许是一则笑话，也许是一段回忆。
她终于轻轻的笑了。
他很高兴、很满足的笑起来，都快看不见眼睛了。

从他与她之间的对白（也不算是对白），我看见了另一个他-

我自己

她是正置于青春期的我，毫无耐性、毫无经验、一丝不苟，一心只想着要往外飞。
他也许将会是未来的我，用了一分钟来换取她无价的微笑。

Tough week Lovely weekend

It was a busy, chronic, frustrating, horrible, terrible, yet lovable and enjoyable week.
Everyone was bustling about the photo shoot.
I went to Starbucks with YiRen and Rijen on Tuesday night till midnight just to discuss bout the photo shoot.

Toilets were filled with people, boys and girls were the same.
Their hair was everything they ever cared about.

No matter big or small, they are everywhere! (Behold Nikon D2x. RM20,000++, body only!)

First shot of the week was this ~~retarded~~ handsome fellow.

Then we had the group photo which involved the whole form and 26 teachers.
A big project and "heavy" project which required almost 20 people to carry the "heavy-duty-stools" from the hall to the back.

Spot the real workers and the fakers.

Many thanks to those who had helped out.
Overall it was a success.
Though it was frustrating when dealing with almost 200 students when their mouths just wouldn't stop chattering like an ass and moving around like a monkey.
When I say mouth like ass, you know who I mean.

Light and easy Wednesday.
Frustrating and "mor2 chang3" Thursday.
Tiring and depressing Friday.

Finally its over.

Saturday.

The final battle of the Sixth Form's Ping Pong Competition.

I din't really know what happened around me that morning. Blurred.

All I know was I played continuously for quite a few rounds, win some lose some, and they gave me 2 medals and a trophy.

Quite high along the games, even "moon walked" during a few games. x)

We missed the gold by an inch.

Then along with Weng Liang, Bok, Zheng Yang, Hong Sheng, Tsu Bang, Yee Xuan, Boon Chin and Kar Thing, we went to Hot Bowl for lunch. Some small shop at Abu Siti Lane (Red Rock Hotel).

I got lost and drove til CRC.

7 bowls of Curry Mee, 10 or 11 plates of Chicken Rice (Liang and me shared 3), 15 cups of chrysanthemum and "herbal" tea.

Sunday

Went for tuition in the morning, then suddenly think of watching Transformer 2 (i havnt watch 1 T.T).

I called up Han and he emotionaly replied,"You called me for the first time in 7 years!!!"

Kit joined in and with my purp CLK we head our way to Queensbay.

Han in Topshop buying polo-t for his dad. Fancy and fashion iconic dad!

We checked the tickets online before we go, all shows got fully booked, 5 of them!

What the hell is wrong with these people?!

In the end, we never watched the movie. 2nd trial for me while 6th trial for Han. x)

Met up with Daniel and Xia Wei, dinner, and fetched Eu Han and Kit back.

After stopping for almost a month, it was time for me to jump back into my blog.
Whenever and wherever I go, I would hear

Yes fellow pink strips, I know its time to update.
The passion and enthusiasm is back in me and I can feel it flowing in my boiling blood.

Mouse Hunt

Do you know that there is an application on Facebook called "Mouse Hunt"?
Where you build a trap, buy some cheese and sound the horn. Then you will get all sorts of mouse coming to your trap?

I was kinda addicted to this application lately though my sisters said that it was stupid, time wasting and childish.

Then, the real thing came.
We had a basin in our class in school. Near the basin we had a piece of soap, providing teachers a place to wash their hands after teaching. Lately we noticed there were bite marks on the soap, which also = mice.

Someone from our class brought a mouse trap (as you can see) and put the soap in it.

There you have it. A cute lil black mouse.
Anyone interested to make it as your new pet? Anyone??

You'll never know that hunting mouse would be so interesting!

It was just last Friday when Wei Xian drove Zheng Yang's car and knock OVER the divider near CLHS's largest toilet.

Everyone was like ''What the hell?? So silly lah!'' bla bla bla and laugh their ass off. Including me.

This morning after recess, we walked pass his car and started laughing about their stupidity and clumsiness. As we walk by my car, I said ''I have never been involved in any accident in my purple CLK before'' proudly and confidently.

The lady came down from her shinning silver Kancil and started

The lady's car suffered minor scratches while mine, whoa! Speechless.

The technician came. My dad came. Even Madam Tan Lean Kee passed by with an evil smile on her face. x3

Rest fo the sake of my eye

For no reason my left eye was suddenly infected by conjunctivitis.
Or also know as sexy red eye syndrome.

It got red and swollen, I cant see properly at bright places as it hurts.
But magnificently, I still manage to drive to school for two days til today when it started to flow tears like tap water. My left eye got bigger and even more red.

Ill be taking a break from blogging til my sexy eye returns to normal.

It was December 2008.
I was rotting at home until Soony suddenly pop out and suggested a sunrise photo shoot. But then he went missing with Shandy for a trip.
And now he is accusing me petering him about the sunrise shoot out. Who was the one that was petering har?!

Anyways, I was waiting for him to finish his postings bout his trip (for god's sake, 10 posts??? i lost count on the number) then i'll only post these photos.

It was early morning at Jelutong Highway. The fishing village had became a hot spot for photo bugs and you cant blame them. The scenery is drop dead beautiful.

It was still early when we finish and its getting hot and stiff, so I suggested we move on to the next spot. Since none of them had any idea of where to, I saja said Balik Pulau and the next thing I know, we were on our car driving.

It was my first time to go back to Balik Pulau for photo shooting.
I dont really know where to go.

After going very deep into the kampung of name which I dont know, we even saw the road sign showing direction towards the airport.
AIRPORT?! BALIK PULAU???

But still, we found it.

The place is Pulau Betong, which definitely is not a pulau. I grew up at Balik Pulau and I dont even have any idea that this place existed.

After Pulau Betong, we did went to Pantai Aceh to shoot some "beach".
However just like Pulau Betong, Pantai Aceh is not any pantai.
We ended up at facing mountains.

And thats the end of the outing.

Its time of the year where you would sit down, think and recap of what you had done for the whole 2008.
Its the time where you would hear Michael Schofield with his sexy voice saying, "Previously on Prison Break."
Get ready for some photos that you would never see on my blog for the whole year. Time to reveal some!
So imagine me, with my "wulala" voice saying, "Previously on 2008."

1st of January, my eldest sister celebrated her birthday. I failed to find any photos though, but you can always check out my previous post where someone covered herself inside her blanket sitting in front of a fan. (am i being too obvious?) XD

The year started quite well with my dad buying a new camera. Its a Nikon P5100. A mini monster which later on became the Must-Bring-Item when im out with friends or on a trip. It had captured some of the best times and also bad times and even NASTY times of my life.

One of the many first photos I've taken with it was this. It was specially made for our dear friend Vivi who went to National Service. It was fun to do and the idea was great.

Then on the 12th of January, my second sister (once called Hatshepsut, the Egypt Pharaoh for her hair) celebrated her birthday.

That time was also the period where my hair was at its fullest length.

Unfortunately, this was the only photo of it. Sad..

On the 22nd of the month, we celebrated Shi Ting's birthday at e-Gate.
It wasn't anything big but still the girls managed to make a deep hole on Khai Hern's Civic.
And here is a photo I did not post before.

Nothing MUCH happened during February except that I celebrated my 18th birthday.
Its my 18th BIRTHDAY, of course its something big! But I just realized that I did not post anything related before.

Then on the 24th of February, I went back to Gurney to celebrate Rocky's birthday.

Its another simple but nice birthday celebration at Chili's where Jie Xun had done some nasty things with a sweet corn. :X

Its a quite March for me. Not much action available but one thing for sure, I finally get hold of my new mobile phone! A Sony Ericsson P1i which now Im still using.

Its the first time of my life to go out tripping with my friends in April. 4 guys and 2 girls got on a bus and went straight up to Genting to do lots of silly stuff such as taking the Pirate Ship for 8 or 9 times, sitting the "hanging in the mid air and swing" thing for more than 15 rounds.

It was also the month where the amazing video of "the returning of noinoi-ism" was made.
Check my April post for it. It wont be hard (there are only 2 posts for that month).

May was the month where there were the most gatherings and parties we had cuz its the time when friends leave to fulfill their dreams in different directions. Some wealthier ones moved to Australia while some "luckier" ones went to Matric.

As for those who decided to stay behind, it was time to pack our bags as we were back to Chung Ling for the talks-which-persuade-you-not-to-study-Form-6-filled Orientation Week. Well at least the best thing we did was to meet the Chung Ling kias and the new comers then had hell lotsa fun.

Followed by the Orientation day was the Orientation Night where all the 6th Formers wore eye catchy suits to impress each other, build some image and fame.

Well definitely not this one.

Then I "almost" went on the national tv when 8tv crew visited Gurney which apparently I was there that time.

Almost... They failed to pay me the amount for using my image on screen.
Their bad!

As school starts, everything's changed. Suddenly I became so healthy til every weekend, there will be some activity all around Penang.

I participated in the Kwang Hwa mountain climbing.

Then the cycling event where Weng Liang had to suffer riding a flat tire for the whole journey.

After that, we shaved all our heads bald as we join in and shout out "BIRD BIRD" loud and with no doubt. The PIBG Basketball Championship.

And not long after the competition, another one was up- Sixth Form Inter Class Championship.

Another medal for us.

And the next weekend, we went tripping with The Rovers to Monkey Beach. We had lots of fun climbing up the hump and going down the hips of mother nature.

Some time during the August morning, I fetched Rocky to had a good view of sunrise at a beach somewhere near Gold Coast.

Thats when something went very wrong. Its the photo, not us!

After the action packed weekends, I had an eggy day celebrating Weng Liang's birthday. Thats when we gave him the sexy seductive purple color Ipod Shuffle.

Shooting with DSLR was always something I longed for. During October, I borrowed Soony's Sony Alpha 300 and had a go with it. Some photos during an event at Than Lin. More should be up if I have time to retouch and resize them. Those lens by Soony are monsters!

After losing my 4-month-old UpTempo and wearing my North Star shoe for 3 months, I've finally bought a new pair of LeBron. Its LehBbrron. This time, the photos were taken with my sister's Canon 450D.

With this pair of LehBrron, I'd went to PCGHS and had some good game there.

Then with them too I'd conquered Penang Bridge.

As the year had come to an end, its time to bring camera to school and take some memories down.

December was the month of joy but also the month of disaster!
The trip to Langkawi was fantastic until the moment I found out about my camera.
I dont even have the chance to celebrate his first birthday and he is gone, together with all the photos of the trip in it. Terrible!!
But still..

Had my second outing with Soony and Shandy to Jelutong Highway and Balik Pulau.
More photos to come.

Overall, 2008 was not totally a bad year for me.
A series of unfortunate events had occured on my but still they granted the chance for me to learn and grow, such as never to lock my car keys in my car and needed my sister to drive me the car all the way to Econsave at Paya Terubong. I also learnt to appreciate the things I own and take good care of them. If not someday I might lose my car too.

2008 was yesterday and 2009 will be tomorow.

My new year resolutions for 2009
1. Not to lose anything
2. Gain some weight ( dont jelous )
3. Stop gaining height ( dont jelous )
4. Shoot more photos and update more frequently ( i doubt)
5. Fill the other half of me

What would you think of when you saw your sister, wrapping herself up in her blanket, sitting in front of a fan with its full speed on?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas came early this year. We have Doremon and Power Rangers visiting the shopping malls just to remind us that the holiday is drawing near.
Santa said I was not being well behaved this year. Instead of giving me my dream DSLR, he took away my Nikon P5100. Soony told me that day, "Instead of dreaming for you Canon 5D, go buy 4D and pray to make a fortune out of it."

Friends, what can I say about them? One minute they are here and poof the other minute they are gone with the wind.

Well at least banana boy came back to town and we had a fun night playing mahjung at his place til we forgot that it was Christmas.

Its still Christmas, but this year Santa gave me a lesson instead of candy bar inside my smelly socks.

Short update of my long holiday

Its finally time for me to update my blog!

I can hear Little Mis Naughty (Jovy) nagging from a mile away.

So I went on a field trip to Langkawi organized by the Sixth Form and P.A Society last week.

Its a last minute decision for me to be part of the crew as I wasn't sure I wanted to go or not. However, friends around me keep begging and bragging and even bribbing for me to go.

How could I break their hearts?

Talking bout Langkawi.

Its a beautiful place with interesting history background and myths.

Names of each places have the story of their own, such as Gunung Mat Raya and Mat Cincang were once 2 huge families. According to the tour guide, the 2 families quarelled during the wedding ceremony of daughter and son between 2 families and ended up turning into 2 mountains. During the fight, they threw curry kuah at each other and thats where Kuah Town got its name.

Another interesting myth is the Tasik Daya Bunting where in English its called Lake of the Pragnant Maiden where women will be able to give birth after taking a sip of the lake water.

and Budweiser there is cheaper than Coca-cola. So are the liquor such as Johnnie Walker and Vodka which cost over RM200 over here at Penang, selling only RM50++.

I've shot a total 2GB of photos with my Nikon P5100, but they all ended up in no where as my dear friends left it on the bus when they reached Penang.

Sad..

But still they ended up leaving the game after 15 minutes.

If my memory serves me correctly, it wasn't long ago since I bought myself a pair of basketball shoes.

It was Nike a UpTempo redxwhitexblack where I wore it to make history and earned myself the legendary tittle "M7".
However, carelessness and stupidity of me had left that pair at the school's indoor court and soon it was never heard.
I know who stole them and he know they were mine.
After stucking with my "North Star" for quite some time, I've decided to get myself a new pair.

I went to BJ Complex.
As I was walking towards a Nike shop, I saw an old man with silver white hair, like those master's in kungfu movies.
He said, "Come boy. Follow me."
So I did.

"They have been waiting for you, my young man."
He handed me an orange colored box with a Nike logo on it, covered with dust.
I blew the dust and without noticing, I was blowing towards the old man's face.
He started chocking and suffocate.
He caughed, blood came out from his mouth.
Before his last breadth, he said,

"Got RM50 discount for this pair."

BAHAHAHHAAHA
Crap.
So I bought myself a new pair of shoes, which cost me(my sis) RM300.
Still trying to get used with them and soon, M7 will be back in bussiness!

In case you wondered if those were pictures from the web.
No they are not.
I shot them with my another new toys.

My weekends

After 2 weeks of exam + 1 week of slacking,
noinoi-ism is finally back online!
To be honest, I think im the only blogger within my friends that breaks and continue then breaks again that frequent.
(Jovy had already reach 189 posts while Im still stuck at 60)

However, what's important is quality, not quantity!

So here are my first weekend of the holiday.

Saturday
15th November

PCGHS's Sixth Form (i think) had organized a inter-school Sixth Formers Basketball Competition and CLHS was invited. 3 teams were sent (2 for male category and 1 for female).
There were some last minute trainings for the females by Kok Oon before the competition including way to carry a ball and run but mostly they ended up colliding each other.

16th November

Some say you will break your legs for doing so.
Some say you will ended up in the "sweeper bus".

I say its like drinking water.

Tons and gallons of water.
Its the annual Penang Bridge Run.
Its a race so simple it only requires you to run.

How far?
Well, starts from Queensbay Mall, through Gold Coast, to the highway, up the bridge, across the bridge, reach the toll and U-turn, back to the bridge, across the bridge, to the highway and back to Queensbay Mall.
A total of 25km only.

The sight of the bridge is one of the reasons I took part in it.
But soon I realise, after 2 hours of walking+running nothing much changed.
Tar road, lamp posts and the distance sign which seems to increase very the damn slowly.

But still, you rarely have the chance to stroll your way down the Penang Bridge like this.
You even have a chance to witness so many empty bottle laying on the road of the bridge.

Vege week

Its the Raya Holiday, the holiday that we had to pay with our Saturdays to earn it.
Last few hours of the week, first post for my blog.
x)

The week started off with a blast.
And again, the winning spree continues. Our class once again crowned as champions of the interclass ping pong competition!

However, til now I still havn't receive my gold medal. Im out of place to keep my medals too. XD

Then the next morning was the Cooking Competition (again) by Rovers. Victor Chan, Jin Siang, Zheng Yang and I formed a team and challanges ourselves with the others. We were the only team without any females! And still, even though we dint won,we managed to prove that men CAN cook!!

Then with Liang, Vic, Ball and Qi, we went to watch Babylon. Its another super hero movie where the hero never dies and the girl mysteriously got pragnant after touching vin Diesel's chest hair. -. -U weird
And sakae sushi killed my wallet.
Damn you sushis!!

As for the rest of the week, the routine was quite the same. Wake, eat, dota, gunbound, eat, gunbound, dota, eat, dota, dota, eat, sleep.

Lay Qi's handphone.

It was Saturday.
The day when all the chef-chef from all the 6th Form classes will clash in the battle for the best CHEF of the form!

It was Saturday alright so for a busy man as I am, its the perfect time to sleep til the sun burns your butt right??
So obviously I missed the whole process of "cooking" and "tasting" (uek), but still I was there for the results.

There were chicken with aluminum foil dragon???
Watermelon filled with soup which became 西瓜汤（四果汤）.
You name it, we got it!

Waiting for results.

However, the skillful ones does not need all these illusions to make their food taste better.
When they were announcing the champion of the day, the other class's were shouting like mad, especially the pot (not for cooking one x)). At first I heard L6F2, cuz I heard theirs was like the dishes made by hands of god.

Winner being forced to go up the stage to collect the prize.

Then the weird happened. Kim Leng and Beng Liang then Lay Qi walked out, cheering and jumping?! At first I thought they were just zho siao, canot accept the fact that they lose yet.
"Who won? We won?" I asked.

Well how hard for our class's to win the hearts of the old folks with the theme "ko zha bi" when they have Granny LayQi, Granily Gradpa Beng Liang leading other granpas and granies in the competition?

With no special effects nor papaya nor phoenix, but with ko tong plates and chopsticks, with granma's talent and passion, our class stroke No. 1! Again

As for you my friend.

"Obviously with my talent, no doubt I will win. But I dunwan onli."
"You all go there to lose one hor?"
"I teach you la, cook dragon prawn! Not big head prawn."

Well OBVIOUSLY, this is for YOU! EAT SHIT AND DIE!

Eggy birthday

As promised, here are some tiny bits of details on our BELOVED Liang's birthday.

Initially, the plan was to go to Auto City's Tao, then it shrunk to e-Gate's.

But on that day, after Khai Hern and those who reached e-Gate earlier on 2.30pm, we only realize that Tao closed at 3pm and will not operate til 5pm. x(

Yik Yang, how would you explain this?!

So in the end, we went to Gurney's Seoul Garden.

Due to the oilyness of the place and buzyness of my hands cooking and also my mouth eating, taking pictures was not a good thing to do.

Nevertheless, there are still a few videos available.

And when I say videos, they are X rated videos, not those with people running around hidding and shouting "Ahh~~ Dunwan dunwan~~!"

For the first time

My heart was pounding.
Nervousness strikes as I walked towards her.

Adrenaline was pumping.

I took off my shoes, and lay down on the bed (not really a bed).
She took charge and did her part.

Before I knew it, it was over.

For the first time, in front of 30 others,

i donated 450ml of freshly brewed blood.

Nothing much was happening lately.

The whole 6th form is having a badminton fever as the inter-class competition will be up on this Saturday. Permata have suddenly become the training ground of Chung Ling kias.
Who will win?
Since I had won the basketball competition, Victor and I decided it is time to give others a chance to shine as our awesomeness and attractiveness had already starting to make people blind.

Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk

Last Saturday, I attended a photo shooting event.
"Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk"
Soony hooked me up with this about 2 weeks ago.
Since it was holiday, I signed up.

At first I thought its just an event calling Penang shooters, gather around and shoot.
Mana tahu on the same day, besides the 50++ shooters in Penang, there were also other few THOUSANDS of photographers around the WORLD gathering around to do the same.

On that day, Soony, ShenDi and me can be described as the "young birds" compared to others who showed up. Comparing our gadgets, we were as if Kindergarten Kids. Canon, Nikon full frame camera, lots and lots of lens the size of my Tupperware. They can kill you in one shot!

With only a tiny Nikon P5100 and Canon 300 SLR (NO D o!!), Im just a tiny mole in their eyes. x)

Matt Brandon, the leading person of the event. A friendly and humorous yet amazing photographer.

This is what I like about film. Very 70's colors.

I did not shot lots of photos that day. Still trying to get use to film camera.
Lazyness prevents me from processing any other photos.
So for now these 2 are the product of the day.

At the end of the day, Matt will have to choose a photo from 200++ photos submitted to be crowned as the best photo and stand a chance to win a copy of Scott Kelby's new book "Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers".

And of course, the winner of the day goes to TY!
He is one of my favourite photographer that shoots spectacular photos.
I found his blog on the net where he posts his photos and WHOA
again Im just a tiny little mole compared to him x)

I did not expect that he would show up that day.
I keep hearing other photographers saying "TY here TY there"
and I remembered someone using a Sony camera quite similar to his.

In the end of the day, I still dont know which one is TY though. x)

Rovers went hiking. Our destination was supposed to be Kerachut, but when we got there they realized there were already a whole bunch of people registered to go Kerachut.
So instead of going Kerachut kek sio, we went Monkey Beach.

Its been awhile since I last touched my P5100.
Perfect timing for some warming up.

Just attended an event "Photo Walk" last Saturday.

Shooting spree

As holiday started and now starting to end, I, here by started writing my first post ever after exam. x)
Holidays are meant to slack and do stuff you cant do during school day.
So i did.

First day of the whole slacking week, I went tripping to Monkey Beach with 6th Form Rovers.
Its the day I finally reunited with my camera. Obviously, my shooting skill berkarat dah after a long time without any shooting (dont think dirty).
More updates after this. Takes time to process the photos (unlike SOONY!)

Then, Tuesday was a day I had my shooting spree.

Morning went to shoot sunrise with Rocky (also more updates after this)
Played ball
Afternoon went to spice garden and had a photo session with Soony (more updates too)
Night had barbecue and steam boat with Levi's Ex-workers (more and more updates)

And today, after writting this post, Ill be having a tuition spree.
4 hours straight!
230pm to 700pm at Pisa drilling my brain with Chemistry.

As everyone meets at school or anywhere else these few weeks, all they are talking about is exam.
YES!
THE LONG AWAITED EXAM IS HERE!
But before this, its all about basketball.
Ball here ball there ball ball everywhere.

6th Form and P.A had a interclass basketball championship, which was about.. hmmm.. 2 weeks ago? x)
Yea, unSURPRISINGLY our class came top of the table and won.
Since I was so busy being a referee and a player myself, Elaine took charge of my camera.

Lets hear some story about basketball.

Its a game that sounds like this.
10 guy, chasing after an orange just to put it into the basket.

Its all about expression and emotions. You gotta show love towards the ball!

The expression you need to scare your opponents. Kids, learn it up!

Newton's second law of motion: When X with mass 1000 times larger than Y collide, velocity before collision is almost equal to the velocity after collision.
Kids, never ever hit yourselves with a lorry. You will fall like the poor guy!

What can I say. x)

The PIBG Basketball Championship.
We lost, but still we are happy with what we had been through.

We did mentioned that almost all of the team cut their hair.
Almost.
However, the hair cut does not only make us more aerodynamic.
Its also kind of like a measurement to the strength of the players.
The shorter his hair, the better he is and the higher rate you will see him playing on the court.

Sometimes the longer does not means the better.

Bald Finale

After almost 2 weeks of mania, without even thinking bout it before,
we BIRD²,
is now officially in the FINALS of PIBG Annual Basketball Competition.
YEAH
In our wildest dream!

I still remember.
Just 2 weeks ago when we first got the time table of the match.
I took out a highlighter and colored all the matches that we will be playing.
Then Victor saw it and said
"Eh, semi final and final also draw la! We surely play as champion of the group and play at Y1 then straight into the finals!"

So, I colored.

Who knew, 2 weeks later, surprisingly
we won all the 5 matches and played as champion of the group into the semis and walah! Won and now, tomorrow we will be playing in the finals.

I once said "If we enter finals, we go shave our head bald!"

Busy Busy Busy!
Weekends had never been busier!

Last Sunday I went for the hill climbing by Kwang Hwa.
This Sunday again, I went for a cycling activity which unfortunately I dont even know the name.
Saturday we had a class replacement and the 6th form interclass basketball championship.
yeah, CHAMPIONship
Since I still had yet transfer the photos from camera, Ill post that one later.

-6.40am
Victor came to my house to wait for Liang.
Suddenly, a weird looking van suddenly stopped in front of my house.
Then a bald guy came out - Liang.
We were expecting his Toyota Unser but instead he came in his dad's van. x)
Soon, we packed our bikes onto the van and got going.

-7.05am
We reached the post office and there were already a few (around 50 smtg) cyclist waiting around the car park. Unloaded our bikes, checked and Liang discover a tumor like thingy on his front tyre.
Its like that Belly Yeap's belly sticking out from his shirt.

-7.45am
Still waiting. Butt started to pain and now there were already some (around 500 smtg) cyclist waiting around the car park. According to the host of the day who speaks through a amplifier on top of a van (those you see moving around your housing area shouting "Jualan murah! Jualan murah"), there are almost 1000++ participated in this event. Almost 300 from Chung Ling Butterworth (dont they have any roads there to cycle?) and some even took lorry to transport their bikes from Ipoh.

Ah boy who got tired stopped at roadside scratching his back.

At first, we were quite in front of the 1000++ crowd.
But then, suddenly!
Just over a few hundred meter from the starting point,
"POOOOPFF!! psssssssssssssssssssstttt~~"

Belly Yeap's belly blew off!
Ah Liang went panic with his flat tyre as we only cover a few meters away from the starting point.

"How ah?"
"Keep going lo!"

With his flat front tyre, slowly we were overtook by the cyclist from behind.
The best part is, every time a big crowd of cyclist pass through us, they will definitely remind him bout his flat tyre.

"Boy! Your tyre pum chet liao!"
Victor "Ya we know. Just now hior, he cycled too fast wanting to fly!"
Me "Yalor yalor.. Too fast d his tyre caught on fire!"

Speed began to decrease and crowds were getting further and further.
Even uncles and aunties on their lau iah bicycle also went pass us.
Soon, we were the last few cyclist behind.
5 Rela riding motorbikes held the traffic for the three of us.
Suddenly, we became the VVIPs of Penang, causing a massive jam to the town in the early morning.

The Rela members noticed his flat tyre can called him to pull off by the roadside as there will be a MPPP lorry behind to pick up those who failed to continue due to injuries or broken bicycles.

He refuse!

Struggling with his tyre, he keep on moving or else he will need to take the lorry!

Still, despite Ah Liang's flat belly, we managed to finish the race.
Get a cert and a bottle of water. By the time we reached the finish line, the bread were already finished x(

The tyre he cycled through 12 km.

With our empty stomach, we cycled to Kassim Mustafa.

The journey wasn't that long but our butts hurt due to the seat of the bicycle.
The person who invented the seat must have had a small ass or none at all!

It happened this Saturday.
After some so called BIRD² team "practice" teach by "coach" Eugene, I left my legendary shoe, one and only size 12 NIKE ZOOM UPTEMPO at the basketball court. I dint realized it was not on my car until I reached my home.
PANIC
I phoned lots and lots of people, hoping that they would have kept for me.
Unfortunately, they dint.
After that, I went back to the school but somehow, it was gone.
There goes my first shoe that I bought using my salary. AND ITS JUST 5 MONTHS OLD!

Anyways, we went for mount climbing competition organized by Kwang Hwa Yit Poh.
For the sake of that god damn cert, we went.
I brought my camera with me, thinking that maybe I could take some nature photos.
Mana tau, I was too busy gasping for air on my up and it rained heavily on my way down.

But still, for my dear readers, I still managed to shoot something despite getting my camera wet.

YESH! 2 chapters of the notorious nOi's daily adventure in one shot!
Due to extreme ~~laziness~~ busyness, I was unable to update that frequent.
And I realized my moms (jovy la, vivi la, kevin la) stopped chasing after me to update. AHA! They too slacked! x)

However, dear readers!
I can assure you, no matter what happen, you will never miss a bit of anything of any events! Especially those shocking and humiliating things that others did~

Chapter 1:
The return of birdest or all bird men- Bird man KEVIN
Date: 17th June 2008

After dancing his arse around the city where the lion-mermaids pee through their mouth for quite sometime, he set his sail back home to Penang, the place where he and his myVi roamed the streets "safely".
Without any sense of time, he organized a BBQ party on a TUESDAY night. All of us (EXCEPT HIMSELF) have class the next day but still, nan2 de2 the bird man came back, we finally have the chance to do some birdy stuff! all of us went even knowing what we will get ourselves into. x)

Chapter 2:
nOi, Edisonized yangz and Bunny stomped the yard, HARD!
Date: 21st June 2008.

Its Saturday. We (yee xuan, weng kit, yik yang & me) were suppose to have food hunt at night around the city. However, our dear Yee Xuan had to work full day at his favourite boss's restaurant, Yik Yang was out for the whole day so he must be home before 8 or else he will lose his penis and Weng Kit had a passed away aunt in KL so he had to take a bus that night too to KL.

In the end, I ended up joining YikYang and Weng Kit with other 4 beautifuuuuuuuu ladies. It was Audrey's birthday so of course 瓜子先生 was there. But soon he left for badminton competition.

When i met up with them, 8TV crew was having a road show in front of Gurney. The show "so you think you can dance" was having some kind of promotion.
When the show was near to the end, we stormed the crew.

So you think you can DANCE?!

We ended up as if we were also the participant.

Yesh we can dance x)

And guess who was the host of the day??
He was the host from 8TV quickie, RAZ!

Energizer.. Soon they will come out with Viagra which are longer lasting.

Oh yeah.. Im taller than you RAZ!!

After such an energy-consuming activity, we swift to Kim Gary to fill ~~our~~ my stomach while others clench their thirst.

Its been months since I last took my P5100 go kai kai and luan luan shoot.
Therefore, I took him to Crown Prince after Gurney to have a walk.

There was an event on the beach where the dog owners gathered around.
I found the following very "interesting" and "outstanding" compared to the others.

My photographing skill was filled with rust and I sure brushed it hard. When I was getting in the mood and my creativity was exploding, when the sun went down and the light was dim enough for longer exposure, guess what..

Orientation Night - a different perspective

Yea yea.. I know i know.. The orientation night was already pass till dunwan pass. But you cant blame the busy blogger that cares about everything in everyday life for the sake of others.
But still, I kept my promise!

Back to the orientation night. Instead of posting bout the programs and all the regular stuff, ive prepared something that is something else, something that is different from the other something and that something is so special, it should not be called as something.

Orientation Committee.. Siao pos and siao kongs that are so siao they can do anything. In order to keep the things flowing swiftly, some of us ate nothing but ice kacang and ice kacang ONLY.
And yes, we did pay RM25!

Due to EXTREME FABULOUS WORKING EFFICIENCY of our Yee Xuan, my camera was in my bag most of the time for that night.
So, im still trying hard to collect photos from others ~~to feed your hunger~~

2 hotties of the night. They were the sizzling hot nominee for PK of the night, but still they were generous enough to keep their profile low and give others chances to shine.

2 hours trip for NOTHING

Since the day I took my first salary (which was last year's December),
my family tried real hard to pok mong my cash box to treat them.

After almost half year of time, they finally broke into it. x(

As expected, the shop was already packed with lots and lots of 'mouths' when we arrived. When I say 'mouths', they not only refer to humans', BUT ALSO... GAZILLION ekor of FLIES...

But still, that wont stop us.

Patiently, we waited..

We reached around 6.45pm, waited til 7pm to be seated and guess what.. The dinner was served.. FINALLY, around 8.20pm! AN HOUR and TWENTY MINUTES LATER!

and worst of all.. the waitress lansily walked near to us and said:
Err.. Our tuu boh sng finish liao wor.. You all wan to change to any other dish boh?

WTF?! 2 hours trip for nothing?!! @#$%^&*!
I will remember that!

Due to extreme hunger, busy hands mixed with tulan-ness, no more pics were shot after that x)

Luckily, the crab porridge still available.

It has nothing to do with loh moh.. With my current situation, Im far too early to be loh moh x)

Lomography to be exact.
Over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing. Thats how lomography looks like.
Earlier, Kwang Hwa Yit Poh had an article relating to lomography and not long ago, Patrick mentioned something lomo bout my photos.

Implying the basic "technique" of lomography- don't think, just shoot - , I wandered around outside my house with my camera and started shooting.

Since I don't have any Lomo cameras, i leave all the effects and colour saturation to Photoshop.
And there are what I get.

Well, these are just 4 out of 103 photos I(we, including my sis) shot.
Having the orientation night event in my head just made all me inspiration and energy flow away.

Anyways, having 2 weeks time of holiday in my pocket, there is still plenty of time for me to spare. So, scare what!?

Finally after a week of so called "Orientation WEEK", which made us students to suffer sitting in the hall listening to lectures saying how bad it is for us to choose to study F6 then persuade us to study in their College.

Anyways, the Orientation DAY was finally here and its the time for the boys to strip and the girls to whip! (ooops)
